ARTMA Team Impounds Shuttle Buses And Tricycles At Aroma, Regina Caeli, And UNIZIK Junction In Awka

A special decongestion team led by the MD of ARTMA Engr. Emeka Okonkwo (Konti Komplete) impounded shuttle buses and tricycles that were congesting the Aroma, Regina, and Unizik junctions in Awka once it was 5 pm.

The riders assumed that once it was 5 pm, ARTMA officers officially retire for the day.

It’s always very unbearable to drive into Ifite, Macdons axis, Regina Caeli hospital, and everyday supermarkets from these junctions at this time.

ARTMA wants to use this medium to sternly warn all the riders that were lucky to have escaped today that moving forward, any apprehended tricycle or shuttle bus will be in the custody of ARTMA for two (2) weeks and a heavy fine paid.

Also, the traders that have turned the under of Aroma flyover and Regina junction to a marketplace had their goods confiscated because they had been warned severally.

At about 7.30 pm, we pulled out of aroma, leaving the roads very clear-free of riders and traders.

We will continue to keep an eye on these areas until sanity is fully restored on all Anambra roads.
