ARTMA Report – 18th January 2023
ARTMA ad hoc officers MUST be fully dressed as shown in the pictures above to approach any road user who violates road signs.
Road users should always identify the ‘unique’ number on the vest and caps of the officers for complaints/suggestions.
If the officer isn’t dressed as shown above, such persons should not be associated with ARTMA and has no right to impound and fine a road user.
ARTMA officers are not allowed to operate with sticks but tyre stoppers and locks.
When apprehended, please do not attempt to bribe officers as you will be made to pay an extra penalty for that, ask for the unit supervisor, request for the video of your offense.
If you feel you were wrongly impounded after watching the video or when there is no video evidence, call 08081953091 or 08144228836.
We are working hard to ensure that we restore complete sanity back to the Anambra roads in line with Mr. Governor’s desire of a livable and prosperous Anambra state.
N.B It is not an offence for a road user to clearly park on the shoulder of the road away from a junction or roundabout where there are no road signs to make or answer a call.
SOLUTION IS HERE!
