Anambra State Road Traffic Management Agency Holds Their Final 2023 Officers Training
The Anambra State Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA) led by Engr. Okonkwo Emeka Konti, on Monday December 18, 2023, concluded their final training which took place at the NYSC Orientation Camp Umuawulu, Awka South L.G.A.
The training which began on Friday, December 15, 2023, was concluded on Monday, even as trainees gained adequate and necessary knowledge to foster officer and road user relationships while controlling traffic in the state.
During his address to the trainees, the ARTMA M.D, Emeka Okonkwo Konti, maintained that the training they received would help them discharge their duties diligently and responsibly to the people of Anambra. He promised them that due diligence in this work would be rewarded and appreciated.
He also stated that any officer seen or reported begging or harassing drivers, or road users for money would be seriously penalized, and that such conduct is a sign of irresponsibility and can not be tolerated amongst the ARTMA officers ranks.
Old ARTMA officers were encouraged and appreciated by the agency as merit awards were rolled out for best performing officers to encourage them for their outstanding inputs and performance.
