PUBLIC NOTICE

Attention – Anambra road users

Whenever you feel wrongly impounded, please do not argue, resist, bribe, or exchange words with ARTMA officers.

Willingly agree to drive your vehicle to the closest ARTMA base so your vehicle will not be towed.

Ask for the unit supervisor who should immediately show you the video of your offense.

If the above isn’t done in 10 minutes, please call our central customer care numbers and we will be excited to help you.

The video of the offense will always be called up as we have a WhatsApp group where offender’s videos are posted for every local Government office.

No vehicle should be impounded in areas where there are no signs.

Any vehicle without a well-detailed video is released for free and officers sanctioned.

Feedback received indicates that some corrupt officers scare offenders with tariffs. They ask you to pay them between N30,000 to N50,000 on the road claiming it is double the price in the office – this is false.

Please take note of the unique number on the vest of any officers who try such a trick and report it.
