ARTMA Team Re-enumerate It’s Ad Hoc Staff In Ogbaru And Onitsha
ARTMA DIARY
Tuesday, 27th June 2023
We organized the re-enumeration/ headcount of all ad-hoc staff in Onitsha and Ogbaru LGA. This process is aimed at checkmating the excesses of officers.
The MD/CEO Engr. Okonkwo Emeka-Konti took out time to re-emphasize the required mode of operation.
We get feedback from road users daily and will continue to act on them, he continued.
The GM, Engr. Chidi Umezinwa applauded the officers for the level of sanity they have returned to the head bridge and Upper Iweka but urged them to improve their relationship with road users.
Ndi Anambra, please properly look out for road signs and obey them, if you must pull over on the express to take a call, completely drop off the road unto the shoulder with your hazard lights on but this MUST be away from junctions.
When you feel wrongly impounded, don’t panic, insist the officers take you to the office and do not try to bribe officers on the road even when they tell you it will be more expensive in the office.
Once in the office, ask for the video of your offense, as that’s the only proof the officers in the office will need to impound your vehicle.
We have instructed supervisors to immediately release any offender whose video isn’t provided and deal appropriately with the officers involved.
