ARTMA Team Works To Free Up Traffic After Series Of Multiple Road Accidents Along Ukpo Junction At Dunukofia LGA

The officers of the Anambra State Road Traffic Management Agency ARTMA in the company of the FRSC and D.T.O of the Ukpo police station moved in to clear the road after the accident that occurred along the Ukpo junction axis in Dunukofia LGA.
A white truck driving from Ukpo towards the express lost control as a result of a failed brake and rammed into a Rav 4 jeep that was trying to negotiate from the express into the Ukpo road.
Unfortunately, we lost the driver of the jeep while the other two passengers in the jeep survived with fractures.
Despite the caution signs placed 200 meters on both sides of the accident scene, a tanker at high speed again lost control and crashed into the cordoned area, fortunately, this time our officers were all on alert and escaped unhurt.
All vehicles involved have been evacuated and the road free for other road users.
