Anambra State Road Traffic Management Agency

The M.D/C.E.O Of ARTMA Engr. Emeka Okonkwo And His Team Visits Ifitedunu Junction, Oye Agu Abagana

ARTMA Report 16 Dec, 2022

It’s no longer news that motorists spend hours in traffic on that road (Ifitedunu Junction) as a result of the multiple intersections, commercial bus drivers and street traders.

Road signs were placed along the road from First bank Abagana down to St. Mary’s School Ifitedunu, Ifitedunu junction up through the Ukpo road, Ifitedunu junction up through the Awkuzu road, and the Eziowelle axis of the multiple road junction.

All traders have been taken off the road while all commercial buses are advised to either use the Abagana motor park or up the road beside the St Mary’s fence.

All the bikes by the junction have been sent upwards away from the junction.

Vehicle drivers have been given seven (7) days to get used to the new road signs as our officers will only direct them during the period.

For sustainability round the clock, Officers will always be on ground to apprehend defaulters after the grace period.

Ndi Anambra, ARTMA urges us all to please abide by these signs to avoid the regular plea and sympathy phone calls as we are fully determined to make all roads in Anambra traffic free.

For complaints and suggestions pls call 08144228836.
